A few days ago I showed NightInGail. Now she is blocked and I want to show her dazzling beauty.

No stitching at all ....
This week was busy!! Work was very demanding, so all I could do in the evening was sit and knit. Not only because I was too tired to do something else, also because I was determined to keep up with clue 4 of my mystery KAL. I succeeded, but forgot to take a picture.
The weekend I was busy as a volunteer at the Brei- en Haakdagen, a big woolevent in our town. For the first time in my hometown, so when they asked for volunteers I could not resist. That meant that I was a translater at a workshop, given by Carol Feller about seamless knitting. She is such an inspiring lady!
There was also time for me to follow some workshops, so I had much fun and I have new inspiration and knowledge on how to knit even more beautiful things.
Of course there were plenty of shops at the event, so I bought some beautiful yarn and also a cone of silk, so I could finally finish my NightInGail.
Here she is, washed and blocked.

Remember this? And another purse
Remember this? The hands spread to show the pattern?
I lost interest and so this shawl-to-be was hidden next to the couch. But once and a while I noticed it laying there and all of a sudden I decided to have it a finish this year! Last friday I ran out of yarn, only six (!!) needles to go. Lucky me I can re-order the yarn, but the shipping cost are equal to the price of the yarn. So I have to wait until October 12th when the seller is going to visit the Brei- en Haakdagen. There I can pick it up and all I pay is the price of the yarn. Next decision is what to do with the left over 300 m or so ...
It was so much fun to sew, that I decided to make another purse. There will be more, so I ordered some more frames.
