Winter

Wow, it is really winter! This week all of a sudden there was a cold wind, making me long for hot chocolate and warm woollen scarfs. So, apart from stitching on my Chatelaine Holland Springtime ...

... I made a moebius scarf. And what is more, I crocheted this one! I think the last time I did some crocheting was in my childhood. Proving my device: "whatever you learn, it is yours forever!"

I am looking quite concentrated, but did you ever try to take a picture of yourself in the mirror without showing the camera? And without your pair of glasses, which you wear all the time?

I also did some quilting on my Red Delicious. Things are going slow but steady :)

What a lovely scarf! And I'll never see enough of your Holland mandala, and I've probably written that many times now :-)

The scarf is beautiful. And the photos in the mirror are pretty good!

Love the colors in that quilt. So vibrant. An dyour stitching is looking fabulous. That piece will be stunning when it is completed.

I love your crocheted scarf, and taking a mirror photo like that is pretty clever too.
Great progress on the Chatelaine piece, and your quilt

Hello, Joke- I love your work, especially the Mystery Mandala. You've inspired me to try one, although I'm afraid it may prove to be beyond my reach. Did you use the kit available for threads or choose your own? Also, I've never had to enlarge a color pattern- any hints? If you have time to respond, I very much appreciate it. If not, keep on with the beautiful stitching! Thank you.
