Another thing to show is the progress on my bourse stitching. And please give me some advice about this, because I am so badly in doubt. Should I go on stitching in green and dark green, or would it be nicer to keep the whole design in purples? Please comment on my blog, and let me know what you think!

About the greens...I would prefer purple only, but I am not sure if I would frog it...when finished into a Biscornu, it will look good in both colors I think,-)))

Hi Joke, I think the purples with the greens looks great. I would keep doing it that way. Unless it's really bothering you and you feel you should change it. I know sometimes if something doesn't look right, it will keep bothering me till I change it.

Thanks for your comments, I decided to stitch along this way, so with the greens in it. Maybe sometime later I'll do it in only purples, I have a bit left-over of the fabric :)))
I love the combination of purples & green too. I would add maybe DMC 3847 OR 3808 to bring it together.

Your banner turned out nice, Joke. About your dilemma.. I think the dark green looks nice, but the lighter green needs to be a bit darker. Really, it's a matter of personal preference, though. Good luck with your decision.

Darling PS exchange! Just to support your final decision, Joke, I would stitch with the greens, as well. I think they add a richness to the piece. It's very lovely.
