Three PIF's and an exchange

Last week I was able to sent three PIFs to their new owners.

I liked stitching over one that much on the PS Exchange I did, that I went on stitching that way on the PIF I did for Henderica. I know she must have received it by now, although she didn't let me know yet. This is what I sent her almost a week ago. As she lives in the Netherlands, like me, it arrived probably one day later. It's part of a design of Lizzie Kate, Bless Our Home (Snippet 47).

Lynn was the one to stitch me a PS Exchange and it arrived last week. She stitched me a lovely bird in greens and browns, Just gorgeous and I have to mention the thoughtful way she wrapped the package. It was a real gift!

I also received some beautiful handdyed fabrics from Joan of Sapphire Stitching. I don´t have a picture yet, but, promise, next post ...

Small finish, sent as a PIF

Yesterday I sent the first PIF I stitched. It is for a non-stitching friend, without blog, so I can show it here already. She has given birth to a baby-girl a few months ago, lives in Vienna, so we keep in touch only by mail and chat nowadays.
I stitched her Baby's first Christmas by JBW Designs, personalized by changing 'baby' into 'Haina'.

And I have been stitching quite some time on Celtic Mystery. Picture is taken yesterday, and this morning I filled in the sun and pyramid. Tonight I hope to fill in the flowers, so part nine will be finished then.

My first PIF

Yesterday I received my first PIF! I signed up for it on Viv's blog, and she has made me something beautiful! I am totally spoilt by nog getting one piece, but two. Viv made me a nice little bellpull, not only stitched, but also a lot of beading in it. Besides that it has some flowers, done with a special stitch, and they look great. See for yourself.

The second piece she made for me is an adorable little cushion, with lots of beads. Around it also a lot of beads, woven in little bows. Its a complete mystery for me, how she did this.

I need volunteers to PIF

A few blogs ago I announced I signed in on a PIF and did the offer to stitch for the first three people that signed in, leaving a comment. But it seems only one person takes part in my PIF. What do I do now? Just receive it, and leave it that way? I'll give it a try again, announcing this PIF. Come on, girls I need two volunteers LOL

Here are the rules once more :

I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don't know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week... but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog (or - in your life - if you happen to be blog-less).

Last weeks all I stitched is meant for exchanges, I finished and sent off the PS Exchange for HoE and I am nearly done with the Autumn Exchange of the Crazy Exchange Group. I also stitched a little something for a person on the ILCS, that did something very nice for me. So nothing to show this time. Except for a little progress on my Periwinkle Needlebook, I love Letters. The fabric looks blue, but in fact it is white, and I took the picture in daylight, don't understand how the colors became so mixed up.

And this is the start of the stitching I am going to do for the 'Bourse class', on the ILCS. It is a lovely light purple fabric, looks darker on this picture. I am stitching with threads from Needlepaint, created by Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum (Lavender & Lace). I bought them this summer in Czech Republic, Prague and have never seen them before (and since).

SBBC and PIF

Wow, am I heading up to a busy winter! I signed up for several things, all new and exciting to me! First of all there are the exchanges I'm in. Besides that I signed up for a finishing class at the ILCS and I committed myself to do a MM&IRR. The first design is on my blog already, and I see houses everywhere, even when I sleep. I search the www to get ideas for what I can add to my own neighbourhood and I am buying patterns already and looking through my stuff.

I also signed up for the SBBC, you can find it at Edgar's blog. I was involved in a birthday exchange before, and I loved it, preparing a surprise on someone's birthday.

AND I just signed up for a PIF! I was already looking out for a way to join this and today Viv left a nice comment on my blog. If I can find the time I always pay a visit at the people who comment so I went to Viv's blog, and there it was, THE opportunity to get involved in a PIF. I signed up right away, so here is my promise:
